Intelagate is a NEW, WIRELESS PRODUCT consisting of two devices—a Tailgate Sensor and a Charging Unit. The TAILGATE SENSOR is adhered to your tailgate. THE CHARGING UNIT is plugged into your truck’s cigarette lighter port.
The Tailgate Sensor communicates with the Charging Unit at all times when the engine is running. Never again will you drive off and lose important belongings out of the back of your truck.

For pickup trucks, THE CHARGING UNIT is activated when it is plugged into your truck’s cigarette lighter port and the truck is started.
The TAILGATE SENSOR communicates with the Charging Unit when the engine is running. Lights displayed on the Charging Unit indicate the position of your pickup truck’s tailgate at all times:
UP = tailgate is up and secured.
DOWN = tailgate is down and not secure.
SIGNAL = devices are communicating.
BATTERY = low battery.
